Luar Beauty is a premium Indian beauty brand that launched in May 2025. We are assembling a passionate and creative team dedicated to redefining beauty experiences across India. This opportunity provides valuable hands-on exposure within an expanding, vibrant environment based at our Mumbai office. Note this is a full-time position requiring on-site presence, with no remote or hybrid work available.

Role Overview

We seek an energetic, organized, and resourceful Founders’ Office Associate to collaborate directly with the founder in a multi-functional capacity. The role calls for meticulous attention to detail, strong ownership, excellent communication, and agility in managing both strategic projects and daily tasks. Key activities include product development, partnership cultivation, business growth support, and ensuring smooth execution of key initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing research on beauty, makeup, and consumer trends to inform new product development (NPD).
• Create detailed product briefs and manage end-to-end coordination with cosmetic manufacturers, including sampling, feedback, revisions, and production oversight.
• Supervise vendor communication for packaging and accessory procurement, including gifts with purchases.
• Handle contractual and commercial agreements with manufacturers, and align with design teams on timely completion of NPD collateral.
• Maintain tracking of timelines, dependencies, and deliverables throughout the NPD lifecycle.
• Research and identify potential national and international distributors and retail partners; manage outreach and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for advancing distribution and retail partnerships while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Support investment-related efforts by preparing pitch decks and documentation, and facilitating communication with prospective investors.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, issuing offer letters, and onboarding coordination.
• Assist marketing in expanding Luar PRO, a specialized makeup artist program, through research, outreach, relationship building, contract negotiations, and partnership execution.
• Identify and manage offline brand activation opportunities at venues such as cafés and studios, handling outreach, negotiation, and logistics.
• Drive brand-to-brand collaborations by researching prospects, managing communications, negotiating terms, and overseeing execution.
• Organize company documents, assets, and data, facilitating clear communication between the Founders’ Office and other teams like Marketing, Operations, and Design.
• Support inventory management, on-ground logistics for exhibitions and pop-ups, and coordinate upcoming product launches and related community events, PR, and activations.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects as assigned by the founder.

Candidate Profile

• 0 to 2 years of experience preferably in startups, beauty, fashion, consumer brands, consulting, or similar high-paced sectors.
• Demonstrated excellence in project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a high bias toward action and execution.
• Capacity to juggle multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines concurrently.
• Acute attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
• Ability to independently conduct research, identify strategic opportunities, and drive initiatives forward.
• Comfortable engaging and negotiating with external vendors, manufacturers, partners, and service vendors.
• Robust problem-solving aptitude coupled with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Keen interest in beauty, makeup, cultural trends, consumer behavior, and brand development is a significant plus.
• Ability to work closely with founders in an energetic, fast-growing environment.

Work Schedule and Location

This position is based in Andheri West, Mumbai. Working days are Monday through Saturday, with the second and fourth Saturdays off. Daily working hours are from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Salary

The monthly compensation ranges from INR 25,000 to INR 50,000.
