Forklift Driver

Role Overview

The Forklift Driver is tasked with the safe and effective transportation of materials, finished products, and packaging within warehouse and production environments. This position is full-time and based on-site in the United Arab Emirates, requiring operation of forklifts for tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, moving goods to designated storage areas, and supporting production lines as necessary.

Key Duties

• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure safety and functionality.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain organized and tidy storage spaces for efficient operations.
• Follow directions accurately from supervisors and warehouse management.
• Assist with inventory moves, labeling, and basic paperwork to facilitate proper stock control.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Competent operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment, preferably with valid certification or license.
• Familiarity with warehouse processes including loading, unloading, stacking, and proper organization according to safety and quality norms.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, labeling procedures, and documentation for stock accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent adherence to instructions, safety rules, and company policies.
• Physical capability for manual labor, ability to stand for long periods, and work effectively in a high-paced warehouse setting.
• Clear communication skills and teamwork orientation for working with supervisors, production staff, and warehouse personnel.
• Preferred previous experience as a forklift operator or in a related logistics or warehouse function.
• Commitment to full-time, on-site work in the United Arab Emirates complying with local health, safety, and regulatory standards.
