Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Flight Dispatch Manager to supervise flight dispatch processes, coordinate operational planning, and help maintain safe, efficient, and punctual flight operations. This role offers an excellent leadership opportunity for professionals in flight dispatch, aviation operations, operations control, or airline management within a fully remote and international setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily flight dispatch and operational planning activities.
• Oversee planning related to flights, routes, fuel, and associated operational documents.
• Collaborate closely with teams spanning Flight Operations, Operations Control, Crew Scheduling, Safety, Engineering, Weather Services, and Airport Operations.
• Track flight schedules, evaluate operational performance metrics, and monitor dispatch key performance indicators.
• Coordinate responses to flight delays, diversions, weather disturbances, and any operational changes.
• Assist in decision-making processes to enhance efficiency and punctuality.
• Maintain comprehensive dispatch records, flight documents, and performance reports.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant aviation regulations.
• Engage with airports, service providers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Support investigation and review processes for incidents affecting operations.
• Seek and propose improvements to dispatch workflows and operational effectiveness.
• Prepare regular management and performance reports.
• Encourage a culture of operational excellence and continual process improvement.
• Keep updated with the latest developments in flight dispatch practices, aviation technology, and industry trends.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Operations, Business, Transportation, or a related discipline.
• Minimum four years of experience in flight dispatch, airline operations, operations control, or a related aviation role.
• Solid understanding of flight planning and airline operational workflows.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with flight planning or airline operational software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of weather and fuel planning, and dispatch coordination is beneficial.
• Ability to work autonomously and in collaboration with international teams.
• Experience in UAE or GCC aviation sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
• Relevant aviation or dispatch certifications are desirable but not essential.
