Job Overview

The Flight Data Executive will take charge of the Tracker role, involving monitoring Approach and Radar frequencies to capture accurate operational timings related to airlines. This position requires tracking aircraft movements and updating UFIS with critical flight data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep the UFIS updated with flight details such as TMO, ATA, ATD/OBL/OFB, and aircraft registration.
  • Maintain exceptional accuracy with zero tolerance for errors in data entry.
  • Gather ETAs using MVT, ATD, and ATC information, and communicate resource allocations to the Apron Controller accordingly.
  • Listen to and monitor Taxi Routing via radio transmissions and document the routing information on ACDM.
  • Continuously oversee terminal activities to identify and report operational conflicts to the Apron Controller promptly.
  • Recommend changes to baggage carousel assignments based on updated arrival estimates and coordinate resource management with the Terminal Operations team.

Interactions

External Contacts: Collaborate with Airlines, Ground Handlers, Air Traffic Services, and the Apollo Medical Centre to facilitate smooth operations.

Internal Contacts: Coordinate with Airside Operations, ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting), Terminal Operations, and Security and Control departments for cohesive workflow.

Financial and Other Dimensions

The accuracy of the aircraft data captured by the Flight Data Executive directly impacts billing processes for aircraft services.

Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Between 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Airline Operation Control Centre, Aviation, or related airline operations.

Competencies and Skills

The role demands proficiency in airport capacity planning, flight information management, and a sound understanding of airport engineering systems. Strong operational performance monitoring and expert knowledge of radiotelephonic communication protocols are essential. The candidate should demonstrate skills in incident management, networking, teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving. Effective planning, decision-making, execution, strategic orientation, and interpersonal influence are vital attributes to excel in this position.
