About the Role

We are seeking a Flight Checker to join a leading catering company based in Leeds. The primary responsibility is to ensure that prepared meals strictly adhere to menu specifications and are ready for timely uplift.

Shift and Pay Details

• Work pattern: 4 days on, 2 days off
• Hourly wage: £13.51

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm meals match the specified menu requirements
• Handle special and last-minute meal requests
• Ensure accurate quantities are prepared for collection
• Conduct security checks following Department for Transport guidelines
• Report any delays in operations promptly

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification: GCSE level
• Legal authorization to work in the UK
• Ability to pass a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Five years of verifiable reference history
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred
• Background in food industry advantageous
• Basic knowledge of hygiene standards
• Experience working in production, manufacturing, or storage environments
• Capability to operate effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Good command of English and numeracy
• Detail-oriented and team player
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
