Flat Roofer

Job Overview

This role requires a skilled flat roofer with expertise in multiple roofing systems, working on-site across diverse locations including commercial, industrial, and residential sites. The candidate must have completed secondary education and possess between 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Excellent English language skills are necessary.

Responsibilities and Work Environment

• Perform roofing tasks at various physical locations; remote work is not possible.
• Work safely at heights, adhering to rooftop safety protocols.
• Operate in varied settings including commercial, industrial, and residential environments.

Skills and Specializations

• Proficient in conventional and inverted built-up roofing systems.
• Experienced with modified roofing systems.
• Skilled in single ply sheet membrane roofing applications.

Certifications and Requirements

• Must have Rooftop Safety Training certification.
• Hold a valid driver's license for transportation to varying work sites.
• Physically capable of handling demanding tasks including lifting weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Required to use personal safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, hard hats, safety glasses or goggles, safety harnesses, and other protective gear.
