Role Overview
The Financial Controller role is integral to managing the company's financial activities and aiding strategic decisions. This position ensures financial precision, adherence to regulations, and operational efficiency supporting ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and deliver precise financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually in line with IFRS standards.
- Oversee the yearly budgeting cycle and provide ongoing forecasts to guide strategic business planning.
- Guarantee compliance with local taxation requirements and international financial norms.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate and complete audit processes within set timelines.
- Identify opportunities and implement enhancements to financial procedures and internal controls.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; ACCA certification is required.
- Accumulate 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within IT or consulting industry financial roles.
- Demonstrate proficiency with financial software and strong Microsoft Excel capabilities; ERP system experience is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking, leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
