Job description
Overview
AlJammaz Group seeks a detail-oriented and strategically minded Financial Analyst to join its Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC). This individual will act as a vital finance partner to business units by delivering comprehensive financial reporting, insightful performance analysis, budget management, forecasting, and strategic recommendations for business growth and risk mitigation.
Key Duties
- Evaluate monthly financial and operational results compared to budgets, forecasts, and previous periods.
- Examine revenue streams, profit margins, and costs to extract actionable insights.
- Analyze variances in financial performance and propose practical solutions.
- Support management reporting through preparation of periodic financial reports and development of KPIs and dashboards.
- Assist in budgeting cycles, update financial models, and monitor deviations from plans.
- Contribute to P&L performance analysis and participate in business review sessions.
- Partner with business leaders and operational teams to provide meaningful financial insights for decision-making.
- Advance data reporting by implementing automation and ensuring data accuracy using tools like Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in financial analysis, financial planning & analysis, management reporting, business performance analysis, and finance business partnering.
- Prior exposure to industries such as construction, trading, or finance shared service centers is preferred.
Technical Expertise
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and P&L analysis.
- Capability to create executive presentations using PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Success Factors platform is a plus.
