Financial Analyst

Position Overview

Our client, a well-established multinational company with a significant presence across the Asia Pacific region, seeks a Financial Analyst to join their Regional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team located in Singapore. This position involves extensive involvement in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial review, and collaborative business support across several markets within Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and business plan activities.
• Compile management reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals to budgets, forecasts, and the previous year’s results.
• Provide financial analysis and decision-making support to business stakeholders.
• Track operational expenditures and collaborate with budget owners during planning periods.
• Generate reports on sales, profitability, and costs for various business units.
• Support financial reporting activities during month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at improving reporting systems and streamlining processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• At least five years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or commercial finance roles.
• Preference for candidates with experience supporting multiple regional markets or business units.
• Demonstrated strong capabilities in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, or comparable reporting tools is advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities within a dynamic work environment.
