Role Description
The position of Financial Advisor is a permanent, full-time role based on site in Coomera, Queensland. The advisor is responsible for evaluating clients' financial situations, helping define their objectives, and crafting bespoke financial plans crossing wealth creation, superannuation, retirement preparation, lending, and insurance.
Daily duties include meeting clients, devising and delivering financial plans, assessing investment and borrowing options, and ensuring all advice complies with regulatory frameworks. The advisor also monitors portfolios continuously, addresses client inquiries, and updates strategies to reflect evolving individual needs. Close collaboration with internal teams specializing in financial planning, lending, and insurance ensures provision of integrated and client-centric solutions.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Proficient in financial planning and advisory skills to create customized strategies aligning with client goals and contexts.
- Strong understanding of finance and investment products including risk-return considerations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of retirement planning encompassing superannuation and long-term asset growth.
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business, or related disciplines; professional accreditations such as RG146 compliance or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are highly advantageous.
- Experience in client advisory roles emphasizing excellent communication, relationship management, and ethical standards.
- Ability to analyze financial details, prepare clear reports, and uphold compliance with regulatory and record-keeping obligations.
- Familiarity with the Australian financial services landscape, lending approaches, insurance products, and membership in bodies like MFAA is beneficial.
