Finance Techno Functional Specialist

Job Overview

This role requires an experienced finance techno-functional expert proficient in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial Modules. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience with financial modules and end-to-end processes, including configuration, analysis, and support within Oracle Financials.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage extensive expertise across Oracle EBS financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
• Utilize understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, along with overall financial accounting workflows.
• Manage requirement elicitations, solution architecture, functional setup, conducting testing, deployment, and offer production-level support.
• Drive interface design, data migration, and integration activities within the Oracle EBS financial environment.
• Oversee Subledger Accounting frameworks, period closing mechanisms, financial report generation, and reconciliation operations.
• Prepare key documentation including Functional Design Documents, MD50/MD70, BR100 and develop test scenarios and scripts.
• Employ reporting tools such as Oracle Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), and Discoverer for financial reporting needs.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years' professional experience working with Oracle Financials.
• Hands-on knowledge of key financial modules in Oracle EBS including GL, AP, AR, CM, and FA.
• Demonstrated ability in requirement gathering, functional configuration, testing, documentation, and supporting live environments.
• Experience with financial processes including P2P, O2C, and R2R.
• Expertise in preparing technical and functional documentation relevant to Oracle Finance implementations.
