Job description
Overview
This role is offered on a 12-month contract basis at RBC, located in Nassau, Bahamas. The File Agent is responsible for managing the security and integrity of all collateral files while supporting routine data entry and online transactions related to banking products and processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage filing and retrieval of collateral files, prepare files for re-registration of mortgage-backed securities (MBS), and archive new loan boxes.
- Handle processing of insurance, mortgages, and CMAR queries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of requests.
- Consistently deliver service within established benchmarks, supporting business client service commitments and service level agreements.
- Review documents and data for completeness and accuracy, taking corrective steps promptly.
- Identify recurring errors or service gaps and propose solutions to Reporting Officer.
- Address client concerns with accountability, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Suggest improvements and enhancements to service processes to Reporting Officer.
- Support revenue growth by preventing revenue losses and spotting other business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Global Information Risk Management framework and mandatory policies.
- Exercise due diligence by following operational risk policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Proactively detect operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Must meet bank’s minimum educational entry criteria: 5 Ordinary Level subjects including English and Mathematics.
- Ability to multitask effectively and adapt to client and service partner demands.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in navigating various bank applications to complete incoming work tasks.
- Exemplary teamwork and cooperative attitude.
