Facility Management Operations Manager

Job Overview

Windmills Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Manager to found, direct, and run a newly established facility management firm. The role requires overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, managing client relationships, controlling financial outcomes, and leading a team to achieve ongoing success and profitability.

Primary Duties

• Oversee and coordinate day-to-day facility management functions.
• Create and enforce business strategies along with operational policies.
• Drive business development efforts and acquire new client contracts.
• Handle budgeting processes, profitability tracking, and financial health of the company.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage both operational and administrative staff.
• Foster robust collaborations with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to all UAE regulations, including health, safety, and quality norms.
• Continuously monitor service quality and lead initiatives for improvement.
• Compile and present operational and financial reports to company leadership.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a similar discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant facility management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE facility management laws and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability in business development and leading teams effectively.
• Excellent leadership qualities combined with strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Competence in financial planning and budget oversight.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
