Facilities Team Member

Role Overview

Are you passionate about ensuring smooth operational systems and maintaining a tidy, well-kept environment? An opportunity is available for a Facilities Support Team Member at the Screwfix Stafford Distribution Centre within our Facilities Department. This full-time position follows a Monday to Friday rotating shift schedule alternating between 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of both external and internal site décor and building fabric, including completing repairs as required.
• Manage segregation, storage, and accounting for recycling and disposal items to ensure compliance.
• Continuously enhance internal hygiene and housekeeping standards to achieve excellent cleanliness levels.
• Operate counterbalance vehicles and material handling equipment for cleaning and site upkeep.
• Perform daily yard-related duties such as maintaining hygiene, emptying main bins across the site, and managing pallet control.
