Job description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Export Merchandiser to oversee the complete process of executing buyer orders from start to finish during production. This position serves as a critical intermediary connecting buyers, product development, and manufacturing teams to guarantee timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with buyer specifications.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of buyer orders, from confirmation through shipment.
- Coordinate activities among production, product development, sourcing, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Interpret buyer requirements, technical documentation, and approvals with precision.
- Monitor production schedules to uphold on-time delivery commitments.
- Oversee availability and readiness of materials, including fabrics, trims, and packaging.
- Perform continuous follow-ups with factory teams to prevent delays.
- Maintain communication with buyers regarding order progress, approvals, and updates.
- Manage all approval processes such as lab dips, samples, pre-production checks.
- Uphold quality standards and specifications throughout manufacturing stages.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues to minimize delays or rework.
Performance Metrics
- Rate of on-time order deliveries.
- Accuracy of order execution per buyer specifications.

Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 6 years of merchandising experience, preferably in exports or manufacturing.
- Comprehensive understanding of production workflows and schedules.
- Capability to accurately review technical packs and buyer instructions.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Effective follow-up and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail combined with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency with Excel and order management software.
