Role Overview
We are looking for an Export Documentation Officer to join our Logistics & Warehousing Team based in Bailieborough. As part of a small but vital team, you will handle various administrative and customer service duties, including invoicing, stock management, export certification, compliance, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers worldwide in adherence to HMRC and Customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the efficient clearance of imports and exports encompassing letters of credit, international documentation, country of origin verification, customs valuation, screening processes, export classification, and license applications.
- Build and sustain positive working relationships with external parties such as hauliers and government bodies, as well as internal teams including sales, production, finance, and customers.
- Facilitate effective communication concerning shipping timetables and requirements with customers, addressing any delays proactively.
- Liaise with the Technical department to resolve customer complaints and coordinate requests for product samples.
- Oversee daily recording and monitoring of powder stock data.
- Maintain and report on key performance indicators, alerting stakeholders to any operational issues.
- Support monthly stock reconciliation activities and prepare stock transfer documentation where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum educational attainment equivalent to GCSE Maths and English with Grade C or higher.
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative, sales, or logistics setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong numerical capability.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A third-level qualification in Administration, Business, Sales, Finance, or Logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
