Position Overview

Join the dynamic team at Nando's PERi-PERi North America as an Expeditor, serving as the crucial connection between the kitchen and guests. This role ensures timely preparation and delivery of orders that meet the company's high standards, including take-out packaging and final customer interactions. Expeditors are expected to be organized, efficient, professional, courteous, and dependable, acting as warm and attentive guides to enhance the dining experience.

Primary Duties

• Ensure all orders are accurately prepared and delivered promptly
• Handle packaging and preparation of takeaway orders
• Provide exceptional customer service as the last point of contact in the customer's ordering process
• Collaborate with team members to surpass guest expectations and uphold the signature Nando's experience

Required Qualifications

• Capability to follow instructions and work cooperatively within a team setting
• Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure
• Deep commitment to delivering quality service with strong food and beverage knowledge
• Familiarity with health, safety, sanitation, and food handling protocols
• Proficiency in basic English and professional communication skills

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds independently for extended durations
• Endurance to stand, walk, and climb stairs while carrying food items and dishes over an 8 to 10-hour shift
• Hand-eye coordination with repetitive reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and overhead lifting
• Capacity to navigate multi-level restaurant facilities requiring stair climbing
