Job description
Overview
This role involves managing payroll services ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements and statutory requirements, focusing primarily on payroll cycle execution, accurate reporting, and collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver payroll services in line with established SLA standards.
- Ensure punctual execution and completion of regular and off-cycle payroll runs.
- Submit statutory payments and reports accurately and within deadlines.
- Prepare and verify payroll summary and variance reports for precision.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between Workday systems and payroll records.
- Provide hypo-tax and compensation details to the International Mobility team for assignees.
- Calculate final pay accurately adhering to local compliance, including IR21 and IR8A filings.
- Process employee IR21, IR8A, year-end tax, NS claims, and government paid claims.
- Conduct intercompany billing related to payroll.
- Initiate payment runs and authorize exceptions to standard payment methods as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of payroll advice reports and correspondences.
- Support User Acceptance Testing and validate incident and change requests.
- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners on payroll accounting reconciliations.
- Assist with both internal and external audits concerning payroll processes.
- Respond to HR and employee queries related to payroll matters.
- Communicate with government authorities when required.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance SLA compliance and employee satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing or ad-hoc projects supporting payroll functions.
Location
Based at Pioneer Yard, 50 Gul Road, Singapore 629351. Island-wide transport is provided.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant payroll processing experience.
- Proficient with payroll software and systems; experience with SAP payroll is advantageous.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in team environments.

This position is within Seatrium Limited's Business Unit and involves working onsite with full-time commitment.
