Role Overview
Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a visionary and highly experienced Executive Director - Development specialized in theme parks. This senior leadership position is fundamental to shaping world-class theme park environments that delight visitors while advancing Qiddiya's overarching vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategic plans to ensure successful theme park project delivery aligned with Qiddiya's objectives.
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams through all phases including planning, design, construction, and commissioning of theme park projects.
- Oversee project financials, schedules, and resource allocation to guarantee timely and on-budget completion.
- Collaborate closely with master planners, architects, engineers, and creative personnel to develop innovative, immersive themes and concepts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements throughout every development stage.
- Engage with government stakeholders, partners, and community groups to build productive relationships and support collaboration.
- Drive ongoing enhancements in project delivery processes, sustainability initiatives, and guest experience quality.
- Provide comprehensive status reports, highlight risks, and propose mitigation approaches for senior leadership review.
- Lead, mentor, and cultivate top-performing teams fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience managing large-scale theme park or entertainment development projects.
- Expertise in intellectual property management and its application within theme park contexts.
- Demonstrated successful leadership of complex theme park projects from concept through delivery.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Financial expertise managing large-scale project budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of theme park design norms, construction requirements, and safety regulations.
- Excellent skills in communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to thrive in high-paced, dynamic, and multicultural environments.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; skills in Arabic are a plus.
