Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Environmental Services Support Officer to join the team at Greenslopes Private Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. This position centers on coordinating and maintaining staff rosters within Environmental Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute rosters covering all Environmental Services staff such as cleaning, transport, linen, and waste management teams.
• Manage unexpected absences, cover for sick leave, and process requests for annual leave.
• Participate in activities related to staff selection, training, competency evaluation, and team compatibility.
• Address staff inquiries and provide ongoing support.
• Perform various administrative duties as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience handling scheduling, rostering, or workforce coordination duties.
• Strong organizational prowess with the ability to manage multiple tasks in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Effective problem-solving skills when adjustments to plans arise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficient in computer systems and standard office software.
