Job description
About Fenergo
Fenergo is recognized globally as a leader in Client Lifecycle Management and financial crime technologies tailored for financial institutions. Our sophisticated platform empowers banks and financial service providers to innovate client onboarding, regulatory adherence, and lifecycle management through automation, domain expertise, and AI-enhanced solutions.
Collaborating with some of the world's foremost financial entities, we address multifaceted regulatory, operational, and client experience challenges. In response to evolving market demands, we are expanding our revenue team around an insight-driven, account-focused operational approach.
Role Overview
The Enterprise Business Development Representative serves as a crucial intermediary in pipeline development and the advancement of early-stage opportunities within strategic enterprise accounts. Unlike typical prospecting roles, this position requires identifying value opportunities, in-depth problem analysis, engaging appropriate stakeholders, and fostering an environment conducive to qualifying enterprise opportunities. Collaboration with Field Sales Representatives, Marketing, Client Success, and GTM Leaders is key to translating account strategies into meaningful executive-level engagements.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned SaaS sales or business development expert, demonstrating strong commercial insight, goal orientation, and client engagement skills, eager to advance into complex enterprise sales mastery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Activate strategic enterprise accounts through informed, targeted outreach based on relevant insights and persona understanding.
- Conduct thorough discovery sessions applying the SPICED framework to quantify business pains and shape the narrative for change.
- Construct compelling Value Hypotheses that articulate the urgency and benefits of adopting Fenergo solutions.
- Drive momentum from initial contact to validated opportunity by fostering relationships across various organizational levels and business units in tandem with Field Sales.
- Collaborate closely with Field Sales Representatives to transform customer insights into solid enterprise prospects.
- Enhance the quality, conversion rate, and speed of pipeline entry through disciplined data-driven methods and CRM utilization.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated success in SaaS, technology, or B2B commercial sales environments.
- Strong analytical skills to comprehend intricate customer problems and business scenarios.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders confidently and professionally with tailored, persona-sensitive communication.
- Proficiency or familiarity with the SPICED discovery method.
- Adapt messaging strategically for diverse buying personas to ensure relevance and impact.
- Goal-driven mindset with resilience and excellent execution standards.
- Interest in financial services, regulatory technologies, onboarding processes, and client experience within complex financial institutions.
- Strong cooperative skills for effective teamwork with Field Sales and Go-To-Market teams.
- Competence in leveraging data analytics, AI tools, and market intelligence to refine targeting and engagement approaches.
- Ambition to develop skills essential for enterprise-level sales including discovery, value creation, multi-threading, account planning, and executive engagement.
Motivational Factors
- Engagement with strategic accounts in a nuanced, educational, and trust-based sales environment.
- Opportunity to learn and understand the dynamics of complex enterprise sales opportunities.
- Growth in expertise of discovery techniques, diagnostic of business challenges, and stakeholder relationship building.
- Direct partnership with seasoned enterprise sales professionals.
- Gaining commercial insight in a high-value, regulated, and mission-critical sector.
- Playing a visible role in advancing the company’s revenue strategy.
- Performance measured by pipeline quality and progress rather than by meeting counts alone.
