Engineer - Solace Integration

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineer specialised in Solace integration to develop and maintain event-driven messaging services across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support messaging services utilizing Solace technology.
• Administer Solace environments through tasks such as configuration, periodic maintenance, patch management, upgrades, and designing queue/topic structures.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to message delivery failures, integration glitches, and messaging bottlenecks.
• Work closely with application teams to establish messaging Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for essential processes including payment transactions and entity onboarding.
• Participate in design reviews, readiness assessments, deployment verification, and provide production-level support.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation covering queue and topic configurations, support workflows, known issues, and transition processes.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of six years professional experience in relevant roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient communication skills with emphasis on clear and detailed documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.

Additional Knowledge Useful for This Role

• Experience working within payment or transaction processing systems.
• Familiarity with Mulesoft ESB and Anypoint Platform integration tools.
• Support experience in containerized environments, specifically Kubernetes or Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
