Engineer - Care Team

Job Overview

This role involves performing planned preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas of the hotel. Tasks include inspecting and handling mattresses, bed frames, vacuuming behind and under furniture, cleaning carpet and fabric stains, dusting, rearranging wall art, positioning furniture while ensuring all equipment is present and fully functional, replacing fixtures, and inspecting and repairing seals and insulation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of all guest rooms following the hotel's preventive maintenance protocols and standards.
• Perform minor repairs such as tightening toilet seats, replacing light bulbs, and filling holes in walls.
• Carry out general cleaning of all room surfaces, including bathtubs, wall tiling, floors, walls, windows, and mirrors.
• Report significant maintenance issues, unusual findings, or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries or hazardous working conditions, and complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; uphold confidentiality and protect company property.
• Greet guests according to brand standards, anticipate and respond to their needs.
• Foster positive and constructive relationships with teammates to achieve common goals.
• Meet quality standards and be physically capable of performing tasks involving bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling loads up to 23 kilograms independently or with assistance for heavier items.
• Perform other duties aligned with the position as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.
• Less than one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific certifications or licenses required.
