Endpoint Applications Specialist

We are looking to hire an Endpoint Applications Specialist for our Riyadh Regional Headquarters office.

Position Overview

The Endpoint Applications Specialist will be responsible for assessing, customizing, implementing, maintaining, and providing expert Level 3 support for the firm's key endpoint applications and their upgrades. This includes managing Microsoft Office 365 products and add-ons, PDF and document productivity software, SaaS tools, and other applications assigned by the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, deploy, manage, and support enterprise-wide endpoint applications.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and execute application rollouts and upgrades efficiently.
• Conduct product and system analysis, testing, and offer informed recommendations to management.
• Customize and reconfigure applications to meet user needs effectively.
• Collaborate closely with clients, specialists, and system engineers to resolve technical issues and enhance workflows.
• Document project details including user needs and business requirements thoroughly.
• Communicate product updates and technical information to a wide range of stakeholders within GT.
• Maintain and improve internal macros, custom tools, and automations.
• Create automated process flows using industry-standard robotic process automation (RPA) tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and UIPath.
• Provide Tier 3 subject matter expert support for core applications under the team’s responsibility.
• Develop and deliver presentations to varied audiences as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Endpoint Applications Manager.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Ability to manage assignments independently from start to finish, demonstrating strong ownership and responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster effective relationships with internal and external clients.
• Experience with project management including handling multiple projects, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft Office User Specialist are advantageous.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with application testing, configuration, deployment, administration, and support.
• Proven skills in developing and maintaining proprietary solutions using VBA, VB.NET, and C# with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Strong expertise with document management systems, document comparison and metadata tools, legal macro packages, registry, and group policy maintenance.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices encompassing threat detection, risk management, and data protection.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, its risks and implementations; familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot is a plus.

Technology Proficiencies

• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• In-depth knowledge of configuration, deployment, and management of Microsoft 365 Applications.
• Strong background with Microsoft Windows OS and Office document creation and data recovery techniques.
• Working knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting languages such as VB, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Comfortable writing SQL queries and managing SQL databases.
• Experience using collaboration platforms, specifically Microsoft Teams.
