Role Overview
Join the Emulation Team to contribute to the verification of next-generation microprocessor cores via hardware emulation platforms. You will develop and deploy new capabilities and testing content to accelerate bug detection prior to silicon release.
Responsibilities
- Construct emulation models from RTL to execute test content utilizing industry-standard emulation platforms.
- Enhance emulation frameworks and testbenches using SystemC, Python, and SystemVerilog.
- Develop new emulation capabilities spanning in-circuit emulation through simulation acceleration.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to optimize emulation capacity and design model performance.
- Assist in analyzing failures related to emulation technology and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
Candidate Profile
- Experience with emulation technologies such as Zebu, Palladium, or Mentor Veloce is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with prototyping solutions like Cadence Protium, HAPS, and Speedbridge is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of modern SystemVerilog for both design and verification purposes.
- Proficient software development skills in compiled languages (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Tcl).
- Expertise in hardware/software co-debugging techniques.
- Experience synthesizing and optimizing designs and verification components in synthesizable Verilog.
- Hands-on experience using Palladium, Protium, and Cadence Emulation platforms.
- A motivated self-starter with innovative thinking and a passion for problem-solving.
- Educational qualifications: M.Tech in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 3+ years semiconductor experience, or B.Tech in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 5+ years semiconductor experience.
