Emulation Engineer (Zebu/Veloce)

Job Overview

We seek an experienced Emulation Engineer specialized in Zebu and Veloce platforms to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role involves developing and verifying emulation models for sophisticated System on Chips (SoCs), employing advanced emulation platforms and utilizing deep hardware and protocol knowledge.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Develop and verify emulation models for complex SoCs with an experience range of 4-10 years in this domain.
• Leverage extensive familiarity with emulation environments from Synopsys, Cadence, and Siemens to optimize workflows.
• Apply in-depth understanding of processor architectures, SoC building blocks, and interconnection protocols in design and troubleshooting.
• Work hands-on with input/output protocols including PCI Express (PCIe), Compute Express Link (CXL), Ethernet, alongside memory technologies such as DDR and High Bandwidth Memory (HBM).
• Use scripting expertise in multiple languages—Perl, Python, Tcl, and UNIX shell—for automation and testing processes.
• Define strategic approaches for emulation execution and lead such implementations on platforms like Veloce, Zebu, and Palladium.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving aptitude with debugging capabilities within emulation frameworks.
