Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Melbourne Airport on a full-time basis for the afternoon shift. This role primarily involves reactive maintenance duties, along with responsibilities for preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and installations. As part of a dedicated group, you'll contribute to high-quality electrical services at a major commercial and industrial site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive maintenance tasks promptly and effectively across the site.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults accurately.
- Carry out installation work as required, meeting safety and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Hold an A Grade Electrical license.
- Have a valid driver’s license; a white card is advantageous.
- Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to delivering high-standard work.
- Have a strong understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
- Experience working on large commercial or industrial sites, especially focused on reactive maintenance, is preferred.
