Electrician

Role Overview

This position involves performing routine minor maintenance tasks on property vehicles such as engineering trucks, shuttle vans, and electric carts, including checking and replenishing oil and fluids, monitoring tire condition and pressure, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs. Additionally, the role requires undertaking preventative maintenance on tools and equipment through cleaning and lubrication, managing maintenance inventory by requisitioning necessary parts, and maintaining comprehensive daily logs of operations, maintenance activities, safety data, test outcomes, instrument readings, and any equipment malfunctions or repairs.

Workplace Practices and Safety

Adhering to all company policies along with safety and security procedures is mandatory. Responsibilities include reporting any maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries promptly, completing required safety training and certifications, and properly storing flammable substances. Employees are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential company information, communicate clearly and courteously, document accurately, and handle telephone communications with appropriate etiquette.

Teamwork and Physical Requirements

The successful candidate will foster positive relationships within the team to accomplish shared objectives and respond thoughtfully to colleagues' concerns. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills, visually inspecting tools and machinery for defects, and performing activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching overhead or below the knees as needed. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal education from a technical, trade, or vocational school.
• Minimum of two years' related hands-on experience.
• No supervisory role experience required.
• No certifications or licenses mandated.
