About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on technical professional to join our team as a Product Assembly & Testing Engineer, working in our manufacturing and production department located in Dhyari, Pune. This full-time position entails assembling, testing, soldering, repairing PCBs, troubleshooting electronic wellness products, and maintaining production documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products according to company standard operating procedures and production standards.
• Carry out PCB assembly including component placement and soldering tasks.
• Perform testing on PCBs and finished products to confirm they meet functionality specifications.
• Detect faults, troubleshoot issues, and repair PCBs as needed.
• Replace defective electronic components and undertake necessary rework.
• Handle wiring, connector installation, and electrical connections.
• Execute the final functional and quality inspections before product release.
• Keep accurate records of production, testing, repairs, and quality checks.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to quality standards throughout assembly and testing phases.
• Assist with basic product packaging and prepare items for shipment.

Required Skills and Tools

• Strong practical knowledge of PCB and electronic parts.
• Experience in PCB soldering and assembly procedures.
• Proficiency in electronic product testing methodologies.
• Ability to diagnose problems and repair PCBs.
• Capability to replace faulty electronic components effectively.
• Knowledge of wiring techniques, connector fitting, and circuit connections.
• Competence in using testing instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of comprehensive product assembly and quality assessment methods.
• Basic computer skills for handling production and technical documentation.

Educational Qualifications

Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (BE), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics fields. Candidates with ITI certification in Electronics or Electrical coupled with applicable practical experience will also be considered.

Experience Requirement

Applicants should have 0 to 5 years of practical experience related to electronics assembly, PCB repair, soldering, testing, and troubleshooting. Preference is given to those with hands-on experience in these areas.
