Job description
Position Overview
The role is based in Dubai or Riyadh, with flexibility depending on the candidate. Reporting to the Head of Middle East region, the position is responsible for integrated marketing operations for mobile phones and 3C electronics clients in the Middle East. This is not a pure project management role but the first point of accountability for the mobile product line, independently managing the full cycle from client requirements analysis, strategy formulation, internal resource coordination to project delivery. Current and potential clients include top consumer electronics brands like Huawei, vivo, OPPO, ZTE, Anker, among others.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly liaise with mobile and 3C brand clients to fully grasp business goals, market needs, and project background.
- Clarify and professionally guide unclear or incomplete client requests instead of simply forwarding them.
- Maintain daily client relations, manage expectations, and drive project, contract, quotation, and payment processes.
- Develop annual and quarterly business plans, identifying incremental projects and long-term partnership opportunities.
- Lead important client meetings, project presentations, bidding, and proposal communications.
- Design integrated marketing plans covering new mobile launches, brand promotion, social media, KOL engagement, PR, events, and e-commerce live streaming.
- Build clear strategic logic and communication frameworks based on product selling points, target audiences, and the Middle East market context.
- Independently create or lead competitive bid proposals, coordinating local strategy, creative, media, KOL, and execution teams.
- Translate local consumer insights, cultural contexts, and platform trends into actionable marketing strategies.
- Ensure proposal quality and avoid mere information aggregation or resource patchwork.
- Oversee internal teams (platform, KOL, creative, media, events) and external vendors as the mobile project primary responsible person.
- Plan project schedules, task division, budgets, and delivery standards; promptly identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage project revenue, costs, gross margins, and resource allocation.
- Develop standard solutions, case repositories, pricing systems, and execution SOPs for the mobile line.
- Mentor project managers and junior staff to enhance understanding of the mobile industry and client needs.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to acquire new mobile and 3C industry clients.
- Participate in annual frameworks, integrated marketing, and major bidding projects.
- Leverage existing client needs to promote cross-selling of KOL, content, social media, events, PR, and live streaming services.
- Continuously monitor Middle East mobile market trends, competitor activities, and marketing developments.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in brand marketing, integrated marketing, advertising, public relations, or digital marketing.
- Minimum 2 years dedicated service experience with mobile, consumer electronics, or technology industry clients.
- Proven history of independently managing mobile new product launches, annual marketing plans, or major integrated marketing projects.
- Strong strategic thinking and proposal writing skills with ability to independently construct comprehensive pitches.
- Mature client communication skills to handle demanding, fast-paced, and frequently changing brand requirements.
- Capable of leading client meetings, internal strategy sessions, and project retrospectives independently.
- Strong commercial awareness including understanding of pricing, costs, gross margins, and project productivity.
- Fluent in Chinese and English for communication with Chinese brand clients and Middle East local teams.
- Result-driven and proactive, able to push projects forward despite incomplete information.
- Willing to travel within the Middle East and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with brands such as Huawei, vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, Honor, Transsion, ZTE, Anker.
- Exposure to Middle East, overseas markets, or Chinese brand international expansion projects.
- Familiarity with go-to-market strategies for new product launches, integrated marketing bids, or regional annual frameworks.
- Experience managing teams or collaborating across countries and languages.
- Knowledge of Middle East social media, KOL, PR, offline events, or e-commerce ecosystems.
- Work history in Dubai, Riyadh, or other GCC markets.
