Job Overview
Embark on a career with a premier global airline, taking a leading role in airport operations as a Duty Supervisor. You will manage, direct, and oversee airport activities, ensuring all services meet the highest standards of financial, customer service, safety, and security protocols aligned with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all passenger and aircraft handling tasks per shift, ensuring compliance with arrival and departure procedures, brand guidelines, company policies, and regulations.
- Manage safety and security performance during shifts by identifying hazards, monitoring compliance, and reporting accordingly.
- Coordinate flight editing and special guest services including VIPs, persons with reduced mobility, and other special categories.
- Collaborate effectively with Guest Control, Network Control, and the SOC to handle operational disruptions and minimize their impact on guests and operations.
- Develop, implement, and rehearse emergency response plans, disruption strategies, diversion/delay management, and business continuity procedures at the station.
- Ensure punctual flight operations through coordination, mitigation, timely reporting, and follow-up on delays.
- Promote ancillary sales at the airport, monitor compliance processes, and work towards achieving sales targets.
- Drive the implementation and oversight of customer service standards, monitoring performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure strict adherence to local authority requirements, especially documenting and reporting arrivals and departures.
- Make daily operational decisions addressing safety and security risks by evaluating conditions, hazards, and threats to manage and mitigate risk effectively.
- Report safety and security incidents and hazards per company and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably a degree holder or possessing equivalent A-level/baccalaureate qualification; relevant industry experience with proven frontline service and communication skills is acceptable.
- Experience working in high-pressure, diverse environments in supervisory shift-based roles.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in service, hospitality, airline, or retail sectors, with good knowledge of aviation, travel industry standards, and airport operations policies.
- Mature demeanor with excellent communication, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to delivering superior service.
- Ability to balance guest-focused service with organizational objectives while upholding top safety and security norms and managing teams and service providers on shift.
