Role Overview

Estuary Business Solutions Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled driver dedicated to safely transporting company personnel and clients to various destinations within Lagos, Nigeria. The successful candidate will ensure timely arrivals, maintain vehicle condition, comply with traffic laws, and uphold confidentiality during all official duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport staff, management, clients, and authorized persons to assigned locations safely and punctually.
• Conduct daily inspections to verify vehicle condition and cleanliness.
• Promptly report any vehicle faults, accidents, damages, or maintenance needs to management.
• Observe all road safety and traffic regulations rigorously.
• Keep detailed logs of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and servicing.
• Ensure vehicles are fueled and prepared before assignments.
• Plan optimal routes to minimize delays and conserve fuel.
• Safeguard confidentiality regarding company, staff, and client information encountered during duties.
• Maintain valid and accessible vehicle documents including insurance, roadworthiness certificates, and other statutory papers.
• Immediately notify management of any incidents, traffic violations, accidents, or security issues involving the vehicle.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of at least an SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license.
• 3 to 5 years of verifiable driving experience, preferably within a corporate setting.
• Good familiarity with Lagos road networks.
• Basic skills in vehicle upkeep and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of road safety practices.
• Competency in using navigation apps such as Google Maps and GPS devices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle pressure.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
