Role Overview
We are looking for an exceptionally organized Document Controller to join our Dubai-based team. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing all project documentation, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold a thorough document control system for all project files.
- Efficiently receive, track, and disseminate incoming and outgoing documents.
- Ensure accurate filing, storage, and accessibility of records.
- Update and maintain document registers, databases, and archives continuously.
- Apply and oversee document control workflows and procedures.
- Support the preparation and circulation of reports, presentations, and related project materials.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to enforce document version control and revision management.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify adherence to document control standards.
- Provide training and assist team members on document control protocols and software.
- Participate in deploying and managing electronic document management systems.
Required Qualifications and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- A decade of hands-on experience in document control or an equivalent position, preferably within construction, engineering, or allied fields.
- Familiarity and proficiency with EDMS platforms such as Aconex and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Comprehensive understanding of document control methodologies, industry best practices, and standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and effective time management capabilities.
- Adept at handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication alongside interpersonal aptitudes.
- Experience in database oversight and precise data entry.
- Knowledge of filing, archiving, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered an advantage.
