Job description
About the Role
This pivotal position aims to strengthen partner capabilities to expand business and grow revenue from distributors, system integrators (SI), and customers within the assigned territory. The role reports to the Partner Strategy and Sales Leader for South Asia and is based in Bangalore following a hybrid working model, with relocation flexibility anywhere in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan and targets allocated to partners and territory.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Collaborate effectively across teams managing focused accounts, departments, and industries to drive distributor growth aligned with national growth rates.
- Design and implement growth initiatives and programs to stimulate partner-driven business expansion.
- Organize and lead marketing activities led by partners.
- Conduct partner performance evaluations and reviews to enhance collaboration.
- Strengthen partners’ market development skills and overall effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational qualification of B.Tech or BE in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics engineering.
- 8 to 18 years of experience in sales and partner/customer management within the automation sector.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven expertise in marketing industrial automation products.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead through influence and foster partner performance improvements.
- Capability to navigate and manage complex situations effectively.
