Job Overview

Join Blue Moon Fish Company in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL as a full-time Dishwasher. This role requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, and equipment, as well as properly storing and rotating food supplies. You will ensure all cleaning and food handling adhere to federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen equipment thoroughly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and utensils following hygiene guidelines.
• Perform janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness in various kitchen areas.
• Store and rotate food and supplies properly in compliance with sanitary standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of experience working in fine dining or casual dining restaurant environments.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform bending, climbing, or work in confined spaces.
• Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with team members.
• Strong organizational abilities, time management, good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
