Key Duties

• Provide individualized assistance with daily living tasks like meal preparation, housekeeping, personal hygiene, and transportation
• Encourage involvement in social events and community activities such as shopping and outings
• Support individuals in achieving personal objectives and celebrate their accomplishments
• Promote autonomy, choice, and self-advocacy
• Maintain accurate records on care activities and progress
• Coordinate effectively with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age of 18
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent credential
• Successful completion of background screening and required training
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance (primary or secondary)
• Capability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and community settings
• A compassionate nature, dependability, and eagerness to positively impact lives

Preferred Expertise

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities or autism, including familiarity with Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports
• Knowledge of foundational behavior support techniques such as redirection, visual cues, and environmental changes
