Die Setter

Opportunity Overview

Join Pennex as a Die Setter based at our Leetonia, Ohio facility. This role is pivotal in preparing and configuring tooling aligned with the extrusion schedule to maximize production efficiency and output.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an adequate supply of dies are preheated in the die ovens at each press according to production needs.
• Manage die movements to and from the inventory system accurately.
• Promptly recycle failed dies to maintain workflow.
• Clean dies by immersing them in a caustic solution to remove aluminum residue.
• Perform additional assigned tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

Education: High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.

Experience and Skills:

• Prior exposure to a manufacturing work environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy tools and equipment.
• Preparedness to work indoors and outdoors with variable weather conditions.
• Consistently demonstrates a positive and respectful demeanor toward colleagues and clients.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening mandatory.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is provided.
• Reliable regular attendance is essential.

Additional Information
