Opportunity Overview
Join Pennex as a Die Setter based at our Leetonia, Ohio facility. This role is pivotal in preparing and configuring tooling aligned with the extrusion schedule to maximize production efficiency and output.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an adequate supply of dies are preheated in the die ovens at each press according to production needs.
- Manage die movements to and from the inventory system accurately.
- Promptly recycle failed dies to maintain workflow.
- Clean dies by immersing them in a caustic solution to remove aluminum residue.
- Perform additional assigned tasks as required.
Candidate Profile
Education: High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
Experience and Skills:
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing work environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality workmanship.
- Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy tools and equipment.
- Preparedness to work indoors and outdoors with variable weather conditions.
- Consistently demonstrates a positive and respectful demeanor toward colleagues and clients.
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening mandatory.
