About the Job
Domino's Pizza is seeking Delivery Experts to join our team in Mount Vernon, IN. Responsibilities
- Operate all necessary equipment within the store.
- Stock ingredients in proper storage and work areas.
- Prepare products and process telephone orders efficiently.
- Maintain inventory records and complete related paperwork accurately.
- Clean equipment and the store regularly.
- Deliver pizzas and beverages to customer locations within the designated delivery area promptly and safely.
- Distribute flyers and door hangers as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years with a valid driver's license and a safe driving history that meets company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes.
- Good navigational skills to read maps and locate customer addresses, including multi-story buildings and challenging terrain.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers.
- Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and correct monetary change.
- Capability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying products during delivery, pushing and pulling trays, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, and reaching frequently.
Additional Information
The work environment involves varying temperatures within the store and exposure to outdoor weather conditions during deliveries. Team members must be comfortable operating kitchen equipment that may include hot surfaces and moving parts.
Physical demands include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, and lifting bulk products using a hand truck.
