Position Summary

We are seeking Delivery Drivers who will serve as the key point of contact with our customers, helping to strengthen client relationships. This role involves picking up and delivering automotive parts while following assigned routes and schedules, emphasizing accuracy, customer satisfaction, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver automotive parts promptly and courteously to clients and businesses.
• Verify orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer contentment.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to assigned routes and schedules, utilize navigation apps, and find alternative routes when necessary.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles efficiently without disrupting customer operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing queries and managing complaints professionally.
• Comply with all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Handle payments, prepare paperwork such as invoices and return forms, and reconcile financial transactions involved in deliveries.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on company vehicles and report any issues to management.
• Support additional in-store or warehouse tasks such as stock management when assigned.
• Promote safety within the workplace and during delivery operations.
• Secure and transport cash or other valuables as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Meet company insurance criteria, including being at least 21 years old.
• Hold current automobile insurance with name on the policy.
• Be capable of lifting, moving, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds; 75 pounds for collision parts drivers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to manage monetary transactions and reconcile credit and debit balances accurately.
• Proficient in using tablets or mobile devices for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer signature capture.
• Excellent customer communication skills, able to handle interactions with diplomacy and professionalism.
• Capable of following instructions and working collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed is preferred.
• Prior delivery driving experience is advantageous.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $17.00.
