Role Overview
The Data & Systems Administrator will act as the primary custodian of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) backend systems, managing the setup of campaigns and the SaaS tools vital to our application backend operations. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining accurate catalog, pricing, and content data, administrating SaaS platforms linked to the company app, and ensuring reliable backend performance for business teams daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the SFCC Business Manager platform including configuring sites, catalogs, pricebooks, promotions, and content slots.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access across various Business Manager environments (sandbox, staging, production).
- Supervise system jobs, data feeds, and scheduled tasks, troubleshooting issues promptly.
- Maintain data integrity by overseeing product information, categories, attributes, imagery, and inventory feeds for all Idealz Holding brands.
- Update price books, configure promotional rules, and verify merchandising data accuracy regularly.
- Conduct frequent audits to reconcile data among SFCC and connected ERP, OMS, CRM, and marketing systems.
- Create and maintain data validation checklists and reconciliation reports ensuring consistency across brands such as Idealz, Winnrz, Dream Dubai, Modesh, and WellPlaid.
- Collaborate with Marketing to tailor promotions, campaigns, and content updates within Business Manager.
- Support Customer Experience by investigating and resolving order and data-related complaints.
- Assist Global Operations with inventory management, order fulfillment, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate platform upgrades and technical initiatives with the Technology team aligned to the strategic roadmap.
- Produce regular reports on system stability, data quality, and operational KPIs for leadership scrutiny.
- Document backend setup, access logs, and change records to uphold audit and compliance standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Between 4 to 7 years of practical experience managing Salesforce Commerce Cloud Business Manager, including catalog and pricebook maintenance and job scheduling.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce data models involving catalogs, SKUs, pricing, promotions, and orders.
- Familiarity with data integration methodologies such as APIs, feeds, and ETL processes linking commerce with ERP, CRM, and marketing platforms.
- Exceptional analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail for data audits and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with SQL or equivalent querying tools for data validation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills capable of translating complex technical issues into clear business language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in SFCC, such as Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer or Business Manager Administrator credentials.
- Experience supporting e-commerce operations across multiple brands or regions.
- Knowledge of OMS/ERP systems and payment gateway integrations prevalent in MENA and UK markets.
- Basic scripting capabilities in JavaScript and XML for troubleshooting SFCC cartridges and configurations.
- Background in dynamic retail, marketplace, or direct-to-consumer environments.
Additional Information
Working Conditions: Onsite full-time position located in Dubai, UAE.
Working Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
Experience Required: 4 to 7 years.
