Role Overview

We are looking for a driven AI researcher specializing in applied artificial intelligence, particularly in generative AI, large language models, machine learning, and reasoning. This role involves conducting pioneering research and developing innovative AI solutions tailored for intelligence applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute AI research and experimental methodologies, focusing on generative AI, large language models, and reasoning techniques.
• Undertake independent research projects to discover innovative AI technologies suited to specialized intelligence needs.
• Create prototypes and proof-of-concept applications to showcase AI research outcomes.
• Collaborate with academia, research institutions, and industry partners on joint AI research initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest AI advancements to guide research directions and methodologies.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed AI technologies into various products and services.
• Assist in formulating AI research strategies and future plans.
• Effectively communicate complex AI concepts to diverse stakeholders, including those without technical expertise.

Candidate Profile

• Preferred qualifications include a Masters in Research or equivalent expertise; candidates with a PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Information Technology are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in research and development, particularly in areas such as:
• Natural language processing with expertise in large language model components like joint entity relation, information retrieval, prompt engineering, reasoning, sentiment analysis, and vulnerability analysis.
• Autonomous systems and agentic AI.
• High-dimensional or spatial statistical methods.
• Pure or applied mathematics including number theory, discrete mathematics, combinatorics, cryptography, probability, geometry, topology, algebraic geometry, and representation theory.
• Incorporation of various non-text data types into AI models, such as relational databases and structured tabular data.
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with leading machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Hands-on experience in building and optimizing large language model architectures like GPT, BERT, and T5, applying them to practical challenges.
• Curiosity, self-drive, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for overcoming challenges.
• Strong grasp of mathematical, statistical, analytical concepts alongside computer science and AI fundamentals.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving aptitude, deep understanding of transformer models and attention mechanisms, and capacity for innovation in AI research.
• Commitment to keeping up with emerging programming techniques and research methodologies.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, delivering effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and conveying complex ideas clearly.
• Thorough documentation of technical details, architectural design, and best practices.
