About the Role
Create My PowerPoint is looking to hire a meticulous and analytical Data Reporting Analyst to become part of our expanding team. This position, suited for entry-level candidates including recent graduates, focuses on data analysis, business intelligence, and converting complex datasets into meaningful, actionable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and validate data from various sources for consolidation.
- Generate business reports on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
- Create and update dashboards, reports, and data visual presentations.
- Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights linked to performance.
- Track important business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize SQL and Excel for data extraction, organization, and analysis.
- Ensure that all reporting outcomes are accurate, consistent, and comprehensive.
- Automate repetitive report generation and optimize reporting workflows when possible.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to gather reporting requirements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in data reporting.
- Communicate key insights and findings to internal stakeholders effectively.
- Maintain documentation for reports, including data definitions and schedules.
- Handle ad hoc data analysis and generate reports as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferred in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially formulas, PivotTables, and analytical functions.
- Foundational to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience or familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau considered an advantage.
- Understanding of data visualization and reporting fundamentals.
- Basic scripting skills in Python or similar languages is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail ensuring data accuracy.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Capability to handle multiple reporting tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Recent graduates or candidates with internship or academic project experience are encouraged to apply.
