Mosaic Conseil has been engaged to decompose these records and rebuild them accurately based on the invoice ledgers. To support this project, we are hiring a Data Operations Assistant to join our small remote team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for individuals beginning their careers in data analysis or business operations. The role offers fully remote work, allowing for focused, independent tasks from any location.

We do not operate on retainers nor produce slideshow presentations; instead, we deliver redrawn artifacts supplemented by written justification. Our small, focused team approach guarantees direct responsibility for the work.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, clean, and validate large historical invoice datasets to ensure full accuracy and completeness.
• Cross-check rebuilt business models against original ledger data to confirm consistency.
• Perform preliminary audits of pricing grids to detect discrepancies or missing details.
• Compile the supporting evidence underpinning our written analyses and conclusions.
• Support the builder and challenger by verifying data integrity and testing financial model assumptions.
• Maintain thorough internal documentation to provide a transparent audit trail for projects.
• Ensure all remote project files and folders are logically and accessibly structured for team use.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Familiarity with spreadsheet software, including formula usage and data organization.
• Proficiency in working remotely utilizing digital communication platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, able to detect even minor errors within extensive numerical data.
• Preference for written communication over oral presentations or video conferencing.
• Background in finance, economics, or mathematics preferred but not mandatory if logical thinking skills are demonstrated.
• Ability to work autonomously over extended periods without direct supervision.
• Intellectual curiosity about the inner workings of businesses beyond their public reports.
