Data Engineering/Science Consultant - GenAI/LLMs

Position Overview

This role focuses on designing and developing generative AI (GenAI) and large language model (LLM) based solutions within a dynamic corporate environment located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The position offers an opportunity to work in a culture that fosters innovation and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement models and prompt frameworks powered by GenAI technology.
• Analyze GenAI outputs and translate results into actionable insights.
• Develop AI logic to identify recurring data elements and detect systemic patterns and issues across data sources.
• Design quality assessment and scoring models to evaluate reports quantitatively based on set criteria.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers for data access, including structured and unstructured assessment information.
• Leverage vector databases to enable semantic search and contextual data retrieval.
• Continuously improve AI performance through user query analysis, user acceptance testing feedback, and prompt and model fine-tuning.
• Support validation during deployment, monitor ongoing performance, and enhance AI accuracy following go-live.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in Data Science or Applied Artificial Intelligence roles.
• Proficient in GenAI, large language models, and natural language processing techniques.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and managing agentic AI workflows.
• Experience working with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Ability to transform business rules and evaluation criteria into AI logic effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to explain AI-driven results clearly to business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise systems related to assessment, auditing, or performance management.
• Familiarity with AI solutions integrated with SAP systems.
