About the Role

Muller’s Solutions is hiring a seasoned Data Engineer to join its team immediately for a 3-month engagement. This role is based onsite in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The position is centered on building dependable, scalable data solutions that support inventory optimization, master data management, and backend application services.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, enhance, and support scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for moving and processing data.
  • Use Apache Airflow to design and improve orchestration workflows.
  • Develop data-processing logic in Python, with Pandas and NumPy as core tools.
  • Write and fine-tune advanced SQL queries and BigQuery data models.
  • Build and connect APIs for seamless data exchange across systems.
  • Set up ingestion mechanisms for data coming from internal and external sources.
  • Clean, transform, and validate datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain systems and workflows for master data management.
  • Contribute to inventory optimization by applying data logic and processing rules.
  • Develop backend services that power data-driven products and applications.
  • Track, debug, and improve pipeline reliability and performance.
  • Work closely with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
  • Follow data governance, security, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 5 to 6 years of professional experience in data engineering or a closely related area.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Airflow, Google BigQuery, SQL, and API development/integration.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable ETL/ELT systems.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling, transformation, and database fundamentals.
  • Experience handling large datasets and improving query efficiency.
  • Comfort using version control tools such as Git.
  • Exposure to PySpark and distributed processing is an advantage.
  • Basic awareness of machine learning concepts and workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data quality checks and validation techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker and container-based development is desirable.
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices is beneficial.
  • Experience in cloud-based data environments is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills are expected.
  • Prior work on enterprise-scale data platforms and data-driven applications will be an asset.

Additional Information

This is a full-time onsite opportunity with immediate joining. The assignment duration mentioned is 3 months.
