Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative Lead oversees assigned cleaning areas, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation, while directing custodial staff activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute janitorial tasks and follow the established daily cleaning schedule.
- Guide and assist custodial staff under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor.
- Support the Custodial Supervisor in employee scheduling and conducting training sessions.
- Operate powered cleaning machinery safely and efficiently.
- Manage equipment inventory including tracking maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Coordinate cleanup efforts and repair schedules as required.
- Maintain consistent upkeep of assigned areas daily.
- Monitor and control cleaning supplies inventory.
- Help with procuring cleaning supplies and equipment alongside the Custodial Supervisor.
- Perform inspections focusing on quality, service, and safety standards.
- Report any incidents or hazardous situations promptly to the supervisor.
- Communicate employee and customer issues to the supervisory team.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and supplies among employees.
- Address unsafe behavior directly, then notify the supervisor immediately.
- Offer suggestions for improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Between one and two years of relevant work experience.
- Certification in CPR/AED/First Aid mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver's license may be required.
- Completion of all necessary safety and task-related training certifications.
- Forklift certification may be required depending on assignment.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Capability to read and interpret instructions, manuals, and related documents accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment, with a willingness to share knowledge within the team.
- Understanding of maintenance and care needed for cleaning machinery.
- Awareness of cleaning chemicals and compounds including their safe and effective application.
Physical and Work Environment
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Typical work environment conditions inclusive of duties requiring sitting, talking, or listening.

Work Schedule and Compensation
The work week is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Compensation is set at $18 per hour.
