Job Overview

This position involves executing custodial responsibilities aimed at preserving a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the school premises.

Key Duties

• Cleaning floors, walls, fixtures, carpets, and restrooms adhering strictly to prescribed procedures.
• Securing facility by locking and unlocking doors.
• Removing debris, sweeping entrances and pathways to maintain a tidy exterior.
• Handling cleaning machinery including vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
• Engaging in strenuous physical work and functioning independently with minimal oversight.
• Following both verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Proper storage and organization of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Undertaking additional custodial assignments as requested by faculty members.
• Building constructive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Completing necessary employment documentation and, post-training, assisting with health-related services.

Qualifications and Additional Information

• Possession of a high school diploma or GED, or ongoing enrollment in a GED program with verified progress.
• Capability to follow instructions, operate autonomously, and perform intensive physical work.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the principal as needed.
