About the Role

Bashor Children's Home is expanding its facilities management team and seeks a motivated individual to join. The position involves managing and maintaining a safe and clean environment across the 160-acre campus where children live and learn. The role requires working near children but not engaging in direct contact, supporting the organization's mission through upkeep responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in entrances, hallways, classrooms, restrooms, and offices.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and furniture periodically to remove dust and soil.
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as windows, blinds, doors, window sills, and woodwork areas.
• Sweep, scrub, and mop various flooring surfaces.
• Properly use chemicals and janitorial supplies according to guidelines.
• Assist with groundskeeping tasks including plowing, mowing, and trash removal.
• Support maintenance team members with additional assigned duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
• Hold a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended durations.
• Capacity to stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Clear hearing and speaking ability.

Schedule and Compensation

The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage of $20.00.
