Custodian

Position Summary

The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is seeking a Custodian for St. Joseph-Scollard Hall on a temporary full-time basis. The role involves working evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. The appointment starts September 8, 2026, through approximately November 30, 2026, but will not extend past June 30, 2027.

Salary Information

The annual salary range is between $55,189 and $57,075 for a 40-hour workweek.

Role Responsibilities and Requirements

• Hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent experience with a proven record suited to this role.
• Possess relevant previous experience in custodial or related duties.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Show flexibility, initiative, and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Capable of working collaboratively within a team and contributing to community enhancement.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle.
• Perform regular school inspections as required.
• Have experience working in environments utilizing computerized systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Training in safety protocols and/or WHMIS.
• Familiarity with the school community environment and its dynamics.
