Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile Culinary Barista who combines expertise in coffee preparation with culinary skills to join our cafe/kiosk team. This position suits a motivated individual with a passion for food and beverages, who is proactive and eager to develop professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare various food items including fresh sauces, dips, and breads during inactive hours.
- Brew espresso shots, steam milk, and create hot and cold coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines proficiently and possess fundamental knowledge of manual coffee brewing methods.
- Support kitchen operations with ingredient handling and food preparation tasks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workstation.
- Welcome customers, take their orders, operate the point-of-sale system, and manage payment transactions smoothly.
- Monitor stock levels, restock essential items such as coffee beans, dairy products, and cups, and notify management when inventory is low.
- Carry out opening and closing duties as part of daily cafe operations.
Work Schedule
The role requires working 9-hour shifts, which may be scheduled in the morning and/or evening, with one day off each week.
Location
This position is based in Khar West, close to the local station in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Compensation
The offered monthly salary ranges from 16,000 to 22,000 INR.
